billy anted to try his new cam so we gave it a go and tried capturing some pixx in the late afternoon at vrouwenpolder yesterday.

ja, ze hadden hun kite aan de safety lijn af en toe.
Snap ook niet waarom, lijkt me vaak onhandig.
Maar de boel raakte niet in de knoop en de kite startte weer goed.
Leuke filmpje van een mooie dag.

Met blinds.. trek jeje kite naar beneden.. tis wel nice als je na 40 keer je kite tewater dat ie geen BAM zegt..

In het begin trok ik me kite ook naar beneden, net voor het water ging die pas weer omhoog na de paas.
Nu kan ik me kite behoorlijk stil laten staan.
Op het moment dat je to blind draait en je achterste hand los laat, zit er niet zoveel druk op je lijnen en kun je met je voorste hand even heel kort je kite sturen.
Klein tikje vanuit je pols (duim naar je pols toe), dan blijft je kite beter staan.
Nu kan ik me kite behoorlijk stil laten staan.

je moet gewoon downwind gaan als je blind land
geen druk op je bar en je zal je kite niet naar beneden sturen

haha yeah i know how to avoid the kite going down when landing blind. but i usually dont have big problems with that. when i put the front hand in the middle of the bar, i will pull the kite a bit up when edging to pop. i rather pull the kite down when landing then pulling it up when loading and ending up doing a dangle to blind ;-)
chris, i just couldnt bother. was a long day of kiting so i didnt really try. ;-) nailed all the powered once during the day when the wind was stronger. that was nice. now quit hating or you might not be allowed to sleep in my car anymore :D ;-)
