Fluidkiteboarding laat productiestappen van een kite zien

Aardige post op de Fluidkiteboarding website over hoe een kite in elkaar wordt gezet in de fabriek in China. Leuk om te lezen hoeveel werk dat is. Wist niet dat elke bladder 24 uur getest wordt of hij niet leegloopt bijvoorbeeld!

As a final customer, you go to the store and get the kite you desire and off to the beach to ride your new toy. The label on the wingtip shows some weird string of numbers a barcode and another line says made in China. You pump up the kite and off you go not even noticing the amount of effort and work someone out there put into your new kite. You’ll probably think it’s just some person in a factory in a country far far away. Well you are just wrong!
