After a hell of a trip (almost 24 hours)I finally arrived in Brazil. Next morning the competition started already. Amazing, butwe had qualifiers for the girls and not for the men! Luckily I was prequalified and didn't had to go out. The wind was really light, just enough for competition. After the trials the started straight away with the guys and did the first and a part of the second latter. Just before my heat the wind totally dropped and it was done for the day.

After some problems with school they finally gave me permission for this tour stop.
Our flight to Natal was on the 15th. We arrived late in the night. We stay the night in a hotel close to the beach. After a long sleep we woke up and tried to get a bus who could bring use to the place of the event. After a long time they finally picked us up and brought us in 4 hours to the place of the event. We just arrived and the wind started to pick up. So I took my 12 and rode for a half an hour, then it dropped again.

4 days at home and now I’m already in the plane to Brasil. A really busy sequential. We have no time to train in between the competition so I hope there is not going to be a new guy who is going to kick our ass.

 Today I woke up at 8 o’clock had a good breakfast with my mom and then we went to the beach…Of course the wind was super light as we are not so lucky with the conditions this year in Brazil…The spot is not too bad but not too good either, it’s hard to get upwind! Anyways they started the competition and I was in the 5th heat against local Brazilian Reno Romeu, the kid is ripping…The wind was light and I was on my 13 |
