The very strong gusts of +50 knots and thunderstorm from this last Friday in Horst - the Netherlands took the life of two kiteboarders. One got found in the water and the resuscitation attempts on the beach could not change anything.
The other kiteboarder got lifted by the gusts and flew over a small house and fell on the beach. He passed away later in the hospital.
Very very sad news...
Our deepest condoleances to the family and friends of these two fellow kiteboarders.
