Announcing the 4th Annual Naish Maui International Paddleboard Championships to be held July 12, 2009.
It’s back, and better than ever! The Naish Paddle race is open to both stand up and prone paddlers, and is the last event before the Molokai Race, so you can be sure all the best paddlers will be out there on the latest gear making for some serious competition.
But it is also a fun event for weekend warriors and paddlers of ALL levels - the 9.54 mile course starts at Maliko Gulch, takes the fleet past Ho’okipa, Baldwin, Sprecklesvilles and Kanaha, and then through the entrance of Kahului harbor for a beach finish at Hawaiian Canoe Club, and is one of the best ways to enjoy Maui’s beautiful scenery and perfect conditions.
Date: Sunday, July 12, 2009 Start: 1pm for all divisions/disciplines Entry Fee: $50, Entry includes T-shirts, dinner, refreshments, and medals to top 3 division finishers.
