As if surfing Jaws in the light of day isn’t hard enough, just last night Australian hellman Mark Visser decided to whip into the famed wave at 2 o’clock in the morning. With high-tech lights built into his board and flotation vest, Visser was able to negotiate the solid 15-foot surf and have it documented from multiple angles—including a helicopter.
For those who haven’t heard of Visser, trust us when we say this guy is the real deal (see video below) and has proven himself all over the world in the heaviest conditions out there. The nighttime tow in is all part of a documentary Visser is working on called 9 Lives. Spot on Visser…can’t wait to see how you nearly end the other 8 lives!
