Former Belgian Champion and double KPWT Vice Champion Leander Vyvey has come to ride with BEST.
Leander is one of the best known faces on the pro-circuit having competed and won events on both tours in the past five years. When he's not competing he's traveling, instructing or both. Working with O'Neil Leander has set-up the Windfish Pro watersports holiday company. Windfish offers kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing holiday tours and training camps in some of the best locations around the globe. When he's not traveling Leander can usually be found training or coaching in Dakhla. With a 30km long butter flat lagoon right on the his doorstep and perfect surf barreling on the outside of the lagoon you can imagine why he calls this home.
With a little bit of luck Leander should be receiving his new kites from Best any day now. We will give him a few days to get used to his new Taboo, GP and Kahoona kites before we ask him that all important question. "What's it like to ride with us?"
