Competition:

Girls:

The girls went out for their heats first, the Belgium ladies didn’t pass their heats but both did really well!

Going trough to the 3rd round, Aurelie Herpin (FRA), Suzie Mai (GER), Ingrid Köllbichler (AUT) and Gaby Steindl (AUT).   In the following heat Kristin Boese (GER) took the winning place from Suzie Mai as did Petra Goeschl from Ingrid Köllbichler.  Kristin Boese ended in 4^th place after Petra Goeschl (GER) took the winning place and went over to the semi finals against Kirsty Jones!  The heat with Kirsty and Petra didn’t happen as the wind died and it was not possible to finish any more heats!

The winner of this event was once again Cindy Mosey.

Men:

The men started with the final between Alvaro Onieva (ESP) and Aaron Hadlow (UK), the wind was pretty light and Alvaro was underpowered, Aaron on the other hand had a bigger kite and could perform all his tricks, it was an 7-0 judging decision, the winner of the single elimination was Aaron Hadlow!  Congratulations!

Immediately after the final the third round of the double elimination started with Christiaan Brouwer being on his own in the heat, ersonName>AlexersonName> Tritten was not at the beach, Gianni Aragno arrived a minute before the end of the heat and run to the water put up a kite and jumped on his board, like this he was qualified for his next heat.  Kevin Langeree left Belgium to compete in the Dutch Champions.  Martin Vari too missed his heat and Jeremy Eloy passed immediately to the next heat against Abel Lago.  In the 4^th round Etienne Lhote (FRA) took it from Christiaan Brouwer (NED), Gianni Aragno (ESP) won from Mark Shinn (UK), Jeremy Eloy (FRA) from Abel Lago (ESP) and Ruben Lenten (NED) took the winning place from Andre Phillip (ANT).  Gianni Aragno kept on moving upwards, he beat Etienne Lhote and Cesar Portas, Cesar ended up in third place in the single elimination.  Jose Luengo (ESP) lost from Ruben Lenten and ended up in 5^th place overall, in the single elimination he was ranked 4^th. 

Like with the girls the double elimination couldn’t be finished because of the lack of wind!  Shame but at least we  have two winners and we were super lucky with the wind and weather so all in all, it was a great event!
