Please take a few minutes to read the following story from Marcus who received a liver transplant a few years ago.
I have found his post on kiteboarder.co.uk and it is definatly something we all need to be aware off.
Therefore if you are not allready registered on your national organ donour register, think about it and the effect it could have on other people and their families. It is never too late to sign up.
Hi everyone
I'm a 25 years old and I had a liver transplant 3.5 years ago due to a rare random (idiopathic) hepatitis for which the only cure was transplantation.
I started kiting after my transplant and my view on life has changed so much as a result, and in the most incomprehensible way to others I simply wouldn't want my life without my transplant as a part of it.
You can check out a video I made which has been shortlisted by the NHS and I'm competing for views at the moment, so please share this to others.
the more people that can see how absolutely life-changing transplantation can be the better
