It is said that Spanish explores found a lone rum keg washed up on shore and decided to change the island's name to Rum Cay. One of more than 700 Bahamian islands, Rum Cay sits on the eastern edge of the archipelago facing the deep Atlantic Ocean. The island is a perfect destination to explore new nooks to fish and kitesurf. With less than 80 inhabitants Rum Cay is remote and pretty unique. Here is our journey to this hidden jewel in the Caribbean.
