Starting with Cabrinhas Crossbow there was a downright boom of depower. Almost every brand brings out a bow or a so-called Full-Depower Kite (which isn’t really possible, since 100% depower would mean blasting off the kite…).
FlySurfer wants to respond to this trend with the PULSE. The question is, what characteristics does the PULSE have, what it can and cannot do and especially, how does it work compared to bow kites.
I don’t want to answer the question “BOW or PULSEâ€, I simply want to describe the PULSE’s performance.
Remark: A preliminary model was tested and the run was slightly revised afterwards. In this case, it’s the second version of the preliminary run.....
The PULSE will make beginners and kite schools very happy and will be popular with experts in the strong wind and wave area. I think especially the smaller sizes will be the fast sellers. Performance is particularly important for light winds, so I think the Speed will continue to set the standards there. If you’re trying out different bow kites, you should definitely try the PULSE, because it has a lot to offer and differs from other concepts in many aspects.
