Hydrofoiling with the landlord! I foiled about 2 miles South to this known Bullshark breeding ground hoping to see a couple. Entering the Bay, I saw about 50, in every direction. I was way too nervous to tack, so I went straight to the beach. The water was very clear so I could see everything.
I jumped off the foil too early and had to scramble backwards onto the sand, while using the board as a shield and the foil as a bayonet. The sharks were very curious and were swimming straight at me. It was probably the most intense, scaryest minutes of my life. Knowing that I had to re enter the water and quickly water start to get out of there almost gave me a heart attack!
