1. Tell us about yourself:
Hi my name is Jemma Grobbelaar . I was born in Bloemfontein in the Freestate and lived on a farm for most of my life. We moved to the UK for 5 years and came back to SA just under 3 years ago.

2. Where do you live?
I live in the Western Cape of Southern Africa in an area called, Somerset West, which is about 5 minutes away from the beach in amidst a train station, fake plastic luminous palm trees and my awesome mom and sister.
3. How old are you?
I am 17 years old turning 18 on the 11th August.
4. Where did you go to school?
Last year I matriculated from Parel Vallei High School. But I’ve been to 6 different schools in my lifetime.
5. Did you like going to school?
Not when I was stuck in class with the wind blowing a perfect 20 knots SW. From my computer classroom I could see the beach and I’d get extremely agitated when I saw kites flying high in the Strand! I used the “Sir I’m feeling sick can I please go home†phrase many a time to get out of school, get on my bike and ride to the beach.
