Nu kitesurfen in Nederland is koud? Zet dan de kachel maar wat hoger voordat je deze hele koude video gaat kijken
This three week expedition took, Geza Scholtz the expedition leader, His brother Andre Scholtz a former backgammon world champion, camera men David a veteran sea Shepard, Bastian a northern lights expert, and photographer Richard Findall to the worlds biggest ice slider park.
The gang met up and traveled to Greenland, Ilulissat Icefjord, just 200Km north of the Arctic Circle. The glacier is the most productive in the Northern Hemisphere, flowing at a rate of 20–35 m (66–115 ft) per day, resulting in around 20 billion tonnes of icebergs calved off and passing out of the fjord every year.
With water temperatures averaging -0.7 Celsius and very few windy days the crew found it quite challenging to kitesurf with one of natures most revered spectacles. However geared up with their 17 m Cabrinha Contra kites and Double agent foil board, with their bombproof NP lucifer drysuits to keep them warm, they managed to bring the project together and capture some amazing photos and video along the way.
leuk, maar toch (een beetje) copy-paste van Kevin en Robby...
