maar wat zijn herstart elastiekjes en waarom klinkt dit niet echt vertrouwd..

hier even de uitleg hoe die relaunch bungies werken en waarvoor ze dienen

The bungee does the following.

1) When a bow lands flat on the water, nose facing toward you, this is the worst position for relaunch. The technique for relaunch is one of two ways. Wait for a wave to pass under it and maybe just enough air will get under the front to make it hot launch instantly. The other technique has been to pull one rear line and "wait" for it to slowly spin on the surface until it has spun at least 90 degrees, then it usually flips up and does the normal bow launch thingy. The problem with this last technique has been keeping the lines under the kite when you pull that rear line and wait for it to start spinning on the surface. Often when you pull a rear line it can go over the top of the kite, helped by the bow swept leading edge. When the line goes over the top, if you keep pulling it, the kite relaunches inside out. The bungees holds the rear line under the kite during this technique. Relaunch bow mares are greatly reduced.

2) The other area where it helps is when the kite is on its back. If the kite tries to fly upside down, it helps force it back down on the water. This issue only applies to 5th line bows.
