2007 Event News Smith Rolls Up to Real Kiteboarding The Smith Limo is on tour and their #1 stop was Cape Hatteras, North Carolina to say hello to the REAL Crew and their Team Riders Jason Slezak and Sam Bell. Just like their sunglasses, Smith always travels in style. Their 30' four wheel drive limo (though it looks more like a tank) can tackle sand, snow, you name it! Equipped with a 34' rail, the limo is always ready for a session.
As soon as Jason and Sam saw the limo and its killer rail, they knew they had to hit it on kiteboards. With strong SW winds, everyone knew the place to hit it would be Kite Point, NC, the first stop on anyone's kiteboarding trip to Cape Hatteras.
Eight feet up, 34 feet across, and 8 feet back down, this was the ultimate rail to hit. With land on one side and shallow water on the other, this was not a session for the weak hearted. The REAL Media Team was their capturing every minute on film and in photographs. Check it out!
